FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT

THE WHITE ON WHITE ON WHITE EVENT:

Where was the  2016 party???

It was at the home of Cora McKenzie and Jacksin

Chamberlain in Cherry Creek. It was gorgeous! look at the photos!...

Do I have to wear white?

Yes!  We ask that everyone "play the game" and dress in white head to toe, all shades of white acceptable - but the whiter the better!  If you need them, please have white sweaters, shawls, jackets. We ask that everyone dress as elegantly as possible. People not dressed in white may be denied access to the party. Remember, tickets are non-refundable.

What if I can't find men's white pants?

If you REALLY have to, very light beige pants are acceptable for men.

Why does everyone have to wear white?

It is part of the fun of the game AND it creates a very, very elegant and exciting atmosphere - and the photos you get are amazing!  It really is a photographer's dream to take photos at an event like this.  Be sure to bring your cameras!

What about shoes?

Shoes can be white, ivory, beige, silver, gold, copper, sandals, flip flops, open or closed - just nice and tasteful. No runners please. Spike heels are not recommended as we will be out doors - elegant flip flops

are encouraged!

Can we wear hats?

Yes! We suggest you get creative with your head gear.  Fascinators, flowers, top hats, floppy hats. Get creative! Keep it elegant - but please... no ball caps.

Do we have to bring tables, chairs, plates, cutlery etc.?

Nope. We provide it all for you!  Everything - all of the above and a fabulous dinner, great entertainment, wine on the tables and  cash bar, glasses, linens  - everything EXCEPT for a centrepiece.  We wanted to get you involved and have some creative fun. We are asking everyone to bring their own centerpiece and we are having a contest for the best one!  You can even decorate your chairs if you want to! (It is yours to take back home with you)

What is the prize for the best centrepiece contest?

It is a great prize!  DiVine Tours is sponsoring a wine tour for 2! So much fun!  This year there will be two

categories, one for a group centrepiece and one for individuals.

What are the parameters for the centrepiece?

It needs to be  primarily white - can have a splash of red this year - you can use flowers but it can also have other things that incorporate natural elements such as greenery, shells, pearls, "diamonds" (bling is good!) , "silver", branches, white lights, white candles - must be either battery operated or enclosed flame. (lighting encouraged). Try to keep within a 16"X 7" inch space (- smaller is fine too!). It is yours to take home. You can decorate your chairs too if you want - but "no marks" for them. No tape or tacks on chairs please - you can tie things to the chairs, drape them but not alter the chair in any way. (they are the comfy, white, fold-able, padded chairs)

Can we bring our own liquor?

Guests are not permitted to bring their own liquor. There will be wine provided on the tables and a cash bar.  Anyone bringing unauthorized liquor on site will be asked to leave.

Can we just get the location ahead of time?

We want to keep the venue a surprise for everyone, you will see why when you get there!

Can we wear hats?

Yes! We suggest you get creative with your head gear.  Fascinators, flowers, top hats, floppy hats. Get creative! Keep it elegant - but please... no ball caps.

Is there anything off limits to wear?

No other colours, denim, t-shirts, cut offs, tank tops, ball caps no logos on clothes.  Think refined and elegant attire - with no accent colours other than white.

Is this an out door event?

Yes it is.  The event goes rain or shine. If you feel you will need them, bring white/ivory jackets, wraps, blankets or umbrellas. Clear ponchos will be provided if it rains.

Can we buy group tables?

Groups of 8 or more qualify for a group rate.  Simply click on the link for the group rate.  The tables will be very long tables with everyone sitting together, creating a communal feeling.  You can sit with your group if you provide all the names of who you want to sit with.  All the people in your group must be under one specific person's name only please. Please email us with all who are in your group.

Is there a discount for a group?

Yes!

If you purchase 8 tickets for a group, you get the best rate possible. Must be booked by specific date to get discount.  Once new date has been announced we will let you know more.

Will there be assigned seating?

Only for groups of 4 or more.  This is a fun way to get to know more people!

Do I have to bring my tables and chairs?

No - we supply everything!  Just come all dressed in white and be prepared to have fun!
